Vivienne
Tothill
Pets’ Round-Up
Saturdays 1000 - 1030
Vivienne is a seasoned
radio presenter who has
been involved with animal
radio program presentation
since 1980 when she started
“Animal Carnival” on Springbok
Radio for the SABC and
hasn't missed a Saturday
morning show since.
Pet lovers all over Southern Africa know the program and listen to it
regularly in its Saturday morning prime slot of 10h00 to 10h30 on 1485am
and DSTV audio channel 70.
All the Animal Welfare organisations consider it a major mouthpiece
to reach out to the public and spread news and awareness. This includes
the NSPCA, local and regional SPCA’s, Animal Anti Cruelty League,
Society for Animals in Distress, PDSA (People’s Dispensary for
Sick Animals), IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare), CLAW (Community
led Animal Welfare), Friends of the Cat, Earthlife and many more. These
organisations are happy to provide testimonials confirming the benefit
they derive in communicating with the public via Pets’ Round-Up.
The Kennel Union of Southern Africa (KUSA), D.O.G.S. PC & Dog and
Cat Clubs countrywide are in constant communications with us and all
their major events and experts are regularly featured on the program.
Overseas judges are interviewed giving international benefit to the
program and recently, when Vivienne attended the F.C.I. Agility World
Championships in Monte Chiary, Italy, Pets’ Round-Up broadcast
live direct to SA and Africa, via DSTV audio channel 70 and telephone
link to the studio.
Pets’ Round-Up is recognised as the pet and animal news medium
by pet lovers and organisations across the country and provides a very
real service in maintaining communication on events, shows, happenings
as well as serious matters, such as the proposed pet bylaws of the Johannesburg
City Council
