The Local Chef is a Johannesburg based catering company that prides itself in delicious quality food. I am passionate about cooking and have been at it for years now, catering for big and small events- for family, friends, business functions, charity events etc, etc. I see myself as a “have wok, will travel” kinda person. I can cater for groups up to 200 and even though I’m able to prepare a variety of foods, I like to stick to Indian cooking. I prefer not to classify my food as North or South Indian because it’s simply South African Indian cuisine. Be assured that the food I prepare is done both hygienically and as per your dietary specifications – (Halal, Kosher, Vegetarian, Vegan etc).
