STATION MANAGER'S VISIT TO HOLLAND
   

Our station manager. Sanele Sobantwana, recently made a visit to Holland and we hope soon to be able to announce some exciting and new developments for Radio Today.

House, Prinsengracht 263, Amsterdam on the occasion of the 50th anniversary
celebrations of the opening of the Anne Frank House to the public.
The website www.annefrank.org offers web browers a wonderful virtual tour
of the House. A specially commissioned virtual tour celebrating the golden
jubiulee of the House.


The Station Manager, Sanele Sobantwana, recently attended the 50th Anniversary Celebrations of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, attended by
Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. Sanele was hosted by Jan Erik Dubbelman the International Director of the House and Aaron Peterer, who is looks after South African affairs.
On behalf of Radio Today Sanele presented the Anne Frank House with a replica of the diary used by Anne and dropped on the floor when then Gestapo captured the family for Auschwitz. The gift made specially made from beads
by the crafters at the Rosebank Craft Market.
